I will be glad to speak at your amual athletic banquet
project on April 4th. Your letter which was written in such a
fing vein caused me to accept immediately.

ss“ ss may be necessary for me to drive my car to your place,
which will increase the expense, but that has not been the first
consideration. -I am to speak at the Business and Professional
Women's Glub here in Lawrence on the evening of the Srd and on
the 5th I must be back in Kansas City, Kansas, to speak there.

So I am afraid the train connections are not of the best. But
you may gount on my being present.
