Thank you very much for your letter and check of April 30.

I have had rather bad experiences with my Buick. I have
paid over $80.00 in the last two months on repair. ‘Twenty :
dollars seems like a good deal for expenses, but after figuring
my travel expense and what I have received from my trip, I find
thet I anu hardly breaking even. If you feel that you want to |
add $5.00 additional to your expense of that evening, and would
mail me an additional cheek for $5.00, I nenare por
very happy to receive it.

I am sure that you will understand if you drive a car how
repair bills pile up, if your oar is three or fow years old.
I have never wanted to make anything on my speeches, but since
the University and the State do not provide an expense account,
I feel thet I should not be penalized for doing this service.
