My dear Dr. Allen:

That you have consented to be our guest speaker on Wednes-
day evening of this week, pleases all of us very much. We

are doing all we possibly can to make your visit pleasant

for you as it will be pleasant and profitable for us.

Coach Reade was pleased With the prospect of having ten of
his champion Shawnee-Mission basket ball team hear you; and
five boys from each of our four grade schools, with their
principals are happy to think they are to hear the great
Kansas University basket ball coach.

I suppose you know how to get to Mission. It is about one
mile east of the junction of 50 highway and 169 highway, or
some three miles directly east of Merriam. If you happen
to know where the Shawnee-Mission High School building is,
Mission is about 1£ miles east of it. Anyone in Mission
can direct you to Nall Avenue; the Church is two blocks
south of 50 highway, on Nall.

The supper will be served at 6:45. If you can be there a
little earlier than that it will give you an opportunity to
meet some of the boys.
