PHOG ALLEN'S . . . fevered exhortations as coach of the
Kansas U. cagers, demonstrated above during a recent Jay-
hawker game, have made his teams nationally famous and
established him as the nation's top cage mentor. He is sched-
uled to appear in Cedar Rapids Thursday, April 13, at the all-
sports banquet of the Y.M.C.A. Plans are under way for one
of the largest all-sports dinners in Y. history since it marks the
