Whena registration is caycelled by a tee board by reason of the subject being in an age category not required to register, the DSS Form 110 carrying the cancellation should show the correct date of birth rather than the date given at time of registration. 2. The entries to be made on DSS Form 110 for a man who volunteered for induction through Selective Service prior to the time that he was required to register and at that time assigned a "V" order number, but who has since been discharged from the service and reported to the local board for registration, should be reported on the first line as Order No. "Vy" | going from "I-C (Ind.)" to "(Canc)" and then on the second line showing his newly assigned order and serial numbers and going from "New Reg." to tO", After such actions have been reported the local board will subse— quently report any classification actions taken, such as from "0" to: "THC (Disc. yt, 3. No R,O.T.C. student in the continental United States can qualify for deferment in Class IV-B by reason of his status as a R.O.7T.C. student. 4. The grounds for postponement under Section 633.2 (b) should be based on emergent and impelling circumstances beyond the registrant's control affecting himself and his immediate family.
