GROUP MAJOR IN THE BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

A group major is offered in the biological sciences, designed | as a means of training students who
expect to become high-school teachers in this field.

(1) Physiology 1; (2) Botany 1 and 2, or 50, Botany 150; (3) Entomology 1 and

152, or 50; (4) Zoology 1 and 8, or 50, Zoology 172; (5) Bacteriology 150. The regulations govern-
ing ‘the maximum credits obtainable in departments, “fields, and divisions also apply.

Those planning to teach biology are expected to enroll for this major, and should consult the
group adviser, Prof. A. J. Mix.
