I suppose you have the boys out on the court getting in shape. Lucky guys! There is not much news from this part of the country, still in the army and don't have any idea when they will let me out, Have finally transferred to the Physical Training dept} and am enh to spend the rest of my time in the army as a muscle mane ? At the present time I am playing ball (football) and getting lots of experience so can't complain about the army life, While out for football I. ran into a whale of a future player for K.U. He is interested in going to school but hasn't made up hefsnee he has been in the army #H#é¢44¢+}HAE-AH CE PREEHASAGGEE wherehe wants to go. I wrote Henry Shenk about his ability in the art of football. He is: one cleanest living boys I have seen in the army and I understand he is also a whale of a basketball player. Big 6'3", ##¢ weight is around 190 and there isn't an ounce of fat on him, He acts like Ray Evans, and seems interested in going to school at K.U. Here is one boy #@## who can make any ball club he wants to for he has the determination to go ahead and try till he comes out on top. You wouldnIt go wrong in this boy. Shenk has written him once or twice and the boy is now very interested, in K.U. He will be getting out of the arny soon, in 3 to 6 weeks and is interested in starting to school at mid semester, He has played a couple of yearssof army basketball so he has kept himself in condition. He is going to write you himself, ,but here is his a@dress just in case, Pvt. Edward Sobezak. Physical tra ining de artment ondo army air fiel Hondo texas.
