I watched with great interest your game against the Oklahoma Sooners and I know what responses were back in your eranium when you battled those boys down there. t It is splendid of you fellow to write regarding Pvt. Edward Sobezak. I am writing him today and seiiding you a carbon copy for your approval. Nothing would please me more Bee than to see you back at K. U. along with Pvt. Sobezak. When do you think you will get out, Snelly? They are qe ning a new temm on November 1 but I imagine they would not let you out that soon on account of fottball at Iiondo. However, if they let you out immediately after football season mabe gou gould enter a month later and get eight iouss credit for the eight woeks remaining of the twelve, Then you could enter, of course, the regular term. me 3 It is reported that Charlie Black is ready for dis- charge and may perhaps enter school sometime around Novenber 1.’ However, the grapevine is working in thatt direction. It wuld be great to have some of you boys back. Our prospects are fairly good but the boys are young. A little aging would be beneficial. When do you expest to ‘drop by and see us.
