DIVISION II—Field C
GROUP MAJOR IN THE BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

A group major is offered in the biological sciences, designed as a means of training students who
expect to become high-school teachers in this field.

REQUIREMENTS: (1) Physiology 1; (2) Botany 1 and 2, or 50, Botany 150; (3) Entomology 1 and
152, or 50; (4) Zodlogy 1 and 3, or 50; Zodlogy 172; (5) Bacteriology 150. The regulations govern-
ing the maximum credits obtainable in departments, fields, and divisions also apply.

Those planning to teach biology are expected to enroll for this major, and should consult the
