Yes, I will use the blackboard previous to that time. I wili
follow your suggestions on a talk on offense against a zone, and I
will also show how to start a fast break and go through with it and
also how to meet the fast break, Also, I will show you how to pre-
pare a team against the razzle-dazzle type of game when they go
down and take you all over the floor. I believe that I can give
the boys and the coaches something worth while, and it will be a
pleasure for me to be with you.

mileage and find it is about 150 miles from Lawrence to Peru.
That is S00 miles round trip, and with, gasoline rationing,
tires, and upkeep of automobile that item would mm into
quite a sum when you figure hotel and meals. Tt does not
leave mich for an honorarium.

I trust that your athletic board will allow something
for travel because other institutions and schools do. Would

| i think I ean arrange to came to Peru on the date thet you desire
if I imow it far enough ahead of time. I simply will not schedule
a geme for that date. You do not mention which of the three dates

you would went me, but I presume it would be the afternoon of the
last day, the 15th.

You know one hour is an ewfully short time to give a lecture to
these coaches. If it could be arranged it might be well, since I
an there, to utilize me as mich as possible. I dislike to travel
that distance for only an hour's time. I would just as leave work
as sit around, and if you can have two or three sessions I find it |

to teach them if you contact them more than once.

Maybe it might be well to pick the evening of the second day and -

your tournament. I am just wanting you to know that I am glad to
