The schedule of conferences on the 1946 Summer Session

is given below.

You are invited to bring to the conference any recom
mendations you may have as to specific courses to be offered by

your department in the eight-weeks summer session.

It is sug

gested that you submit a schedule of offerings and staff which
you consider to be adequate to meet the nesds of an enrollment
surpassing the pre-war figure and including a great many veterans

and public school teachers.

The committee for any particular conference will con-
sist of the Central Budget Committee (Dean Hi. B. Stouffer, Dean
P, B, Lawson, Dean J. H. Nelson, Dean J. W. Twente, and Mr,
Raymond Nichols), the chairman of the department concerned, and
the dean or deans of divisions interested in the work of: the
department. All conferences will be heid in the of fice of the

Graduate School,
