Dear Rotarian Burton:

I have given very serious thought to your appeal, end
renenber that you called me last year and insisted that I
come, and then you called me again this year.

T am cognizant of the fact that I miss a full day from
our varsity basketball practice, and I have no one to take
over the coaching burden when I am absent. That is why I
have put you off before. I have no fresiuran coach, and it
is just as if you would walk out and leave your business.

However, I am sure that you would not understand it if
I tiidld turn you dow, so I am plamiing to come December 2.
Vie play a game on December 1 and on December 7, so if
