Douglas County's quota is $2,075,000 as against a quota of $800,000 in April. At the request of Irving Hill, I have accepted the job of heading the "Special-Names" Committee for Lawrence during the Drive, and I certainly need your help as a member. of this Committee. The "Special-Names" canvass will be "Tailor made" in the sense that it will be based on definite lists: of prospective investors already prepared. In order: that. our @roup may lead off in this drive, T am calling the entire Committee together for our first meeting Wednesday morning, September 8, at ten o'clock, at the Chamber of Commerce.
