Allen 105 Robinson Campus, Dear Dr, Allens In compliance with your request in your letter of December 14th, 1938, I am glad to send to you under separate cover my magazine and newspaper articles, For your information I wish to states That the articles on "Swimming Pools in Europe" were accepted by four different periodicals; The Red Cross Couriers; Journal of Physical Education; The Beach and Pools The Douglas County Republican, The data for these articles were observed, studied, translated and compiled for a final examination paper in a Physical Educ- ation European Travel Course sponsored by the University of Michigan, The records of the University of Michigan show that I earned in this graduate course six hours credit with a grade of "A", which I will apply toward a doctorate in Physical Education, That in their new book, “The Organization and Administration of Physical Hducation", Drs, Voltmer and Ess- linger quoted my article, which appeared in the December, 1936 Physical Education Research Quarterly, That this latter mentioned article of mine was also used by Miss Gertrude Baker of the University of Minne- sota in a paper, “Techniques of Supervision for Teechers in Training" presented at the Central District of Physical Educ- ation Association in Minneapolis in March, 1938, That my article entitled, “Annual Swim Weeks", which was released in the 1937 Swimming Pool Data and Refer- ence Annual, interested pool managers throughout the United States, Requests came to me for this material from pool managers from fifteen states and one foreign country, Dr, Allen, I am neither an intellectual paragon nor a mental monstrosity but I wish to call your attention to the space given my articles in various periodicsls along with
