(Third War Loan Drive)

I have been appointed a member of the
"Special Names Committee" to call on you for your sub-
scription to the Third War Loan Drive. However, I prefer
to send this information to you so that you would have an
opportunity to either talk it over with your family or
with yourself as to the amount that you can patriotically
subscribe. I will call upon you in the near future.

It is necessary that we raise two and
a half times as much in this War Loan Drive as we did in
the previous one.

With special emphasis upon this great
and growing accomplishment I am sure it will not be
necessary for me to say more.
