Only one Research man reached base and that was on an error.- The Classification boys scored their run when Echeto { walked, Wexsler singled and Con- way then drove a Sharp single, which enabled Echeto to romp across the pay dirt with the win- ning run. The team lined up with such stars as: Echeto, Wexs- ler, Conway, LeChaix, Hill, Jolley, Mase, Bradbury, Lepon and Wakefield. - The horseshoe-pitching tourna- ments were played this week and as promised here are the. winners. In the singles tournament: S/Sgt Milton Webber bested Cpl Gurker 20-6 and then 21-19. The last game was a thriller-diller and Gurka threatened Webber a few times, but when the dust stopped flying Webber came out on top.
