Dear Dr, Allen,

I attended the annual meeting of the Missouri
Valley A. A. U,. today at the Hotel Kansas Citian,

Rach year this District recommends one or more men
as a candidate for the National Sullivan Award, Today I
suggested the name of Fred Pralle, I stated that Pralle was
one of the outstanding members of the Kansas University
Basketball Team, that he had a pleasing personality, was well
liked by the student body and to my knowledge cooperated with
the team and the Coach,

Ward Haylett appointed a Committee of which Theodore
Bland is Chairman and we are to recommend to the Executive
Committee our choice,

Dr, Allen will you please write a statement of Fred's
qualities, as you know them, in order that I can present it
to the Committee?
