_ Dear Professor Templin;

This will revise instructions given in my letter of April 27
regarding the Fs Cs Allen Scholarship Funds

4 A late contribution of $25, plus a contribution from Dr. Allen
himself of $63.21, brings the total amowmt up to $750. It is Dre Allen's
desire that this be left to accumlate wmtil it is an even $1000. This
will require twelve years.

Mr. Klooz, University bursar, will turn over to you a check
for $750. It is the desire of the F, Ce Allen Scholarship Committee
that you buy a United States war bond with this amount and that the
Committee on Aids and Awards, with your kind assistance, make plans for
starting the execution and administration of the Fe Ce Allen scholarship
or scholarships after the bond has matured to $1000.
