I wish to thank you for the fine response which you
initiated in regard to the matter Mr. Sheridan contacted
you about a short time ago. It was certainly well taken

care of, and I assure you I am very grateful for your
efforts.

No doubt, it will cause one of the members of the Board
of Regents to wrinkle Hs well furrowed brow and sputter a
bit.

If I can ever be of assistance to you in any way, I
hope you will not hesitate to call on me.

Marie, Mary Elaine and Partick are all doing very well,
but are fearful that any day a notice to report for induction
will be left in the mail box.
