Dear Bill:

We have just mailed out a Jayhawk Rebounds to you which
I trust you will enjoy. I wish that I might write a longer
epistle to you today, but I am trying to get caught up with
my correspondence, so will make this brief. -

I am happy indeed that you wrote Bill Winey. I know that
he will appreciate your attention to him more than he can
state. ;

We will count on the time when you return to Lawrence
this coming winter or early spring. You let me imow and we
will get some clubs assembled and rain, shine, fall, winter
or spring, we will have thet golf date. For the things that
I fail to write we will make up in conversation when you

that you will get your wish regarding sea or foreign duty
