We have as regular members of the Club from the Hereules Powder Company
Col. De Re Hyde, director, Major Parker, Capt. G. 8. Atkinson, of the Arny,
Mr. H. C. Chase, the plant manager, together with about forty employees of
Hercules. Their parties and dinners are held at the Club, so it is necessary
that the facilities are in harmony with the personalities using the Club.

- It has been impossible up to this time to either rent or buy new or used
equipment for this purpose, so we feel it imperative that we purchase a wax-
ing and polishing machine to save ow floor. :

We would appreciate your consideration in allowing us to purchase this
machine from the Kansas Electric Power Company of Lawrence, Kansas...
