Dear Superintendent Slegel:

I beg to acknowledge receipt of your kind letter of December
29th.

We are playing Oklahoma on January Gth, and Missouri on the
14th, and to date wo have had very little practice. We practice .-
every afternoon, usually finishing after 6 o'clock. Then I shower,
change my clothes and go to the dressing room to talk to the boys.
Tt is generally so late that it is vory hard for mo to male any
dinner dates out of tom wnless

I believe it would be the better part of wisdom to ask
Wayne Replogle to eke the trip to Oskaloosa on January Sth.
is out of tom this week, but I :
