Dear Mr. Shelton:

Thank you very much for your kind invitation
to deliver your commencement address on May 14 or

I em sorry that I am not able to give you a
definite answer at the present time. We have
tentatively scheduled baseball games with Oklahoma
to be played here on May 15 and 16. However, we
are not certain that we will carry through a base-
ball program this spring. This matter should be
settled within the next two or three weeks, and at
that time I would be in a better position to give
you a definite answer.

What do you suggest in the way of transportation?
Since the restriction has been placed upon tires, I

have been riding my bicycle, but I do not believe I
would want to ride it as far as Dwight!

I shall be happy to write you again in a couple
of weeks, if this is satisfactory with yous
