Lawn Tennis Association at 120 Broadway, New York City issues a very fine bulletin called "Care and Construction of Tennis Courts” priced at 25¢. The Athletic Institute at 209 S. State Street, Chicago, Ill. has Bulletin #42 ~ entitled "Construction of Tennis Courts" priced at 30¢. The Portland Cement Association at 347 Madison Avenue, New York City will be glad to send you its pamphlet called "Tennis Courts for All-Year Sports" which givés construction details for cement courtse A great many recreation executives at the present time try to build batteries of tennis courts since this is the most economical way of doing ite It also gives the opportwmity of using this hard- surfaced area for a number of other activities. In the winter such an area can be sprayed and used for ice skating. In the spring and fall it can be used for roller skating, hopscotch, jump rope, volley ball, basketball, paddle tennis, shuffleboard, end the like.
