This is quite a gala affair and has been given at the end of each foot- ball season for the past ten years by the mothers of the members of the squad. In view of the fact that all food and other necessities are furnished by the parents and teachers, it is practically impossible for me to offer remuneration to our Speaker of the evening. However, we do find enough money to pay for che gasoline and we give the speaker a meal without charge. There have been several requests that I attempt to secure you for this event. I am writing this letter to give you a special invitation to speak before an assembly of our high school and junior college students on Tuesday morning, November 25.
