Thank you so much for your very generous invitation for Mrs. Allen
and mo to be guests in your home during our short stay in Cape
Girardeau on Nove 265 —

I certainly will be delighted to accept, but Mre. Allen is going
east Sunday to visit Bob and Eleanor during the Lawrence Thanks-
giving - not Franklin's, so I will probably come alones

Doubtless I will drive, but I haven't even checked the rail
connections and may come on the train so do not make any pre=-
perations et.all for me as I might have to drive back part of the
waye But I am certainly counting on staying with you and having
a long bull-fest. ;
