Dear Dave:

I am very sorry that under the ciroumstances it
is impossible for me to go to Augusta, but I am sure
that you understand. \

I never ask for the Athletic Association oar be-

cause the other members of the staff use it all the time,

do not desire to upset their schedule. And when I
drive my own Buick it is necessary for me to have six

cents a mile on these wipe. t sannot drive it for less.

While I would like very much to do it for you,
Dave, it seems best that you try to make other arrangements.

I hope it will be possible for you and Margaret
