Dear Coach Allen:

Each year the senior class of the Knoxville High School
sponsors an athletic banquet in honor of the football
team. The class has asked me to extend to you their
invitation to be their guest speaker.

We are planning the banquet to come at the close of the
football season and have set as tentative dates either
November 14 or 17. If one of these dates cannot be
worked into your schedule, would you suggest a date when
you might come.

Our boys are interested in seeing movies of some of the
1941 games and in hearing from one or two of yourfoot-
ball boys. If this type of program could be arranged,
the class would be happy to have the boys as their
guests also.

If you care to accept this invitation will you write me
concerning the dates and the fee you will ask. We will
appreciate hearing from you as soon as possible so that
we may complete our banquet plans.
