THOMAS T. FERGUSON, Aupitor SOUTHEAST MISSOURI TELEPHONE COMPANY TELEPHONE BUILDING — 800 BROADWAY Cape GIRARDEAU November 10, 1941 Mr. Forrest C. Allen, Director of Physical HEducation, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Mr. Allen: This is in reply to your letter of recent date regarding a speaking engagement at our Annual Lions Club Football Dinner. The night of November 26 will be agreeable. The date has been definitely set for that night, and the dinner will be at 6:30 P. M. I have been authorized to offer you a fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00). I hope this will be satisfactory. It is in line with what we have paid in the past. It is my understanding that Dr. Parker would like to have you, and also Mrs. Allen if she accom- panies you, as his guests during your stay in town. No doubt he will write you in the near future. If the above arrangements are satisfactory, I shall look forward with a great deal of pleasure to seeing you November 26. If you will let me know of any arrangements you would like to have made before your arrival, I will be happy to attend to them. Yours very truly, Se : VY, eo T, Steuson 7 BW og Ro heme t Fee he AA LAI rR eg, te Oe [1 Lom, fe oe - — — rf” ee re! Foe AH Lor a te tiin Bri ate i Pee ge er is Dae
