Dear Sir:

It has been the custom of the Lions Club of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, to entertain the members of the Teachers College

and Central High School football teams at a dinner immediately
after the close of the football season.

As a speaker on these occassions, we have attempted to get a

man who is prominent in athletics in this section of the country.
We realize, of course, that you are perhaps busiest after the
football season has ended. However, we are wondering if you
would consider an engagement during the last week of November

or the first two weeks of December. The night would have to be
Tuesday, Wednesday of Thursday.

Please let me hear from you in the near future as to whether
or not you will consider such an engagement, and if so what
will be your terms.
