Dear Sir:

On the afternoon of March 27, we
plan to have an assembly program honor-
ing the athletes of our high school.

In previous years we have done this at
a banquet given in their honor, but the
boys requested that we spend our money
for national defense instead of feeding
them. In view of this fact, we are very
eager to plan 4 program that will be of
unusual interest to each of them. We
would like very much to have you as the
speaker for the afternoon. We would
appreciate an early reply as to whether
it will be possible for you to come and
what the charges will be.
