Dear Cosch Allen:

I returned to my office this morning for the
first time since I saw you last week, and found your
Letter on my desk.

It wes my intention to write you thanking you
-for making a personal appearance at our annual foot-
ball dinner. Your talk was very much appreciated by
everyone present. In fact, I heard several of our
members remark that in their opinion, it was the
finest and most inspirstional talk ever made at one
of our annual dinners.

I certainly will take advantage of your kind
invitation if the opportunity ever presents itself.
I will, no doubt, be in Kansas some time during the
next year, as my parents still live in Eldorado. I
will consider it a pleasure to visit you.

Thanking you again for your splendid talk, I
