It consists of young business men between the ages of 21 and 35, and though we have one or two serious objectefuring the year, such as the "Man—of—The-Year" selection which you probably read about in the papers this past fall, but by and large we meet to have fun and listen to a good speech once a week. For some time the boys have been clamoring at David Newcomer III, who is in charge of obtaining speakers, to invite you to talk on any subject concerning basketball, and David in turn has asked me to write this letter. I explained to the boys that you were very busy at this time of the year, but promised I would ask you and keep my fingers crossed for a favorable reply. The two best dates for us would be either March 26 or April 4, but frankly almost any Wednesday that you could be with us would be satisfactory, for we would make way for you. I wish to personally congratulate you for the fine success of your team again this year, and of course I hope to see you all in the Municipal mesa torium in the Tournament. In closing, I wish to say that this group of approximately sixty young men in the Metro Club would appreciate and enjoy a 30-minute talk from you. Of course, all your expenses would be paid.
