Dear Dr. Allen:

Our State Christian Mndeavor Convention will be held in Topeka,
June 26 - 29th, with headquarters in the First Christian Church,
and with most of our evening sessions in the new city auditoriun.

Our Convention theme is "The Christian Answer," a companion theme
+o that of last year's convention, "Christ calls."

In developing the theme throughout the meeting we are having a
series of major addresses as follows:
"The Christian Answer To a World At War."
"the Christian Answer to ahe World's Poverty.”
"the Christian Answer to a Divided Church.”
"Me Christian Answer to a Pagan World."
"The Christian Answer - Evangelize."
"The Christian Answers With a Sound Body."
"me christian Answers With Stewardship."
"The Christian Answers With Consecration."
"The Ghristian Answer - Onward With Christ."

Blanche Yeomans told me in Topeka yesterday that you would be
able to be with us. We should like to have you speak on the
subject, "The Christian Answers With a Sound Body." This
will come in the Friday afternoon session at 1:30 (your time
30 or 40 minutes about 2:00 p. m.)

We are also asking our major speakers to head up an interest
conference on some similar subject on Friday afternoon from
3:00 - 4:30, to give the young people more af an opportunity
+o meet our guest speakers under more informal conditions.

We hope that you will be able to be with us, and that we can
have your favorable reply at your earliest convenience.
