Dear Dr. Allen:

This is to confirm our telephone conversation
of yesterday in regard to the talk on "Democracy"
which you have generously consented to give from
KFKU on Thursday evening, June 5, at 7:55,

I have not been able to see Dean Lawson yet
but expect to within the néxt few days. You kindly
offered to take May 29 if Dean Lawson could not
fill that date but could speak on the date assigned
to you.

If there is a change in your scheduled date
I shall let you know immediately.

I believe that it would be well to time your
talk to about thirteen minutes (about six and one-
half typewritten pages, double-spaced). We shall
be glad to transcribe it if you find it more co“-
venient to your schedule.
