INSTRUCTIONS FOR MUSTERING TRAINEES FOR PHYSICAL TRAINING AND DRILL (INDOORS AND OUTDOORS: EXCEPT SWIMMING) 1. Form one platoon of three squads. 2. -Arrange according to height. 3, filest nae in each squad designated as squad leader, 4. Select a platoon commander, de Select small men as right and left guides. 6. Trainees will fall in at attention and then go immediately to parade rest. 7. Platoon commander calls platoon to attention. Platoon _ Leader commands, "Squad leaders take a muster!" — on the word muster all squad leaders step one pace forward — left face and check attendance in each respective squad. After ample time, platoon leader commands, "Squad Leaders Report }" First Squad — "All men present." Second Squad — "All men present " Third Squad ~ "Jones, 0. It was not possible to ascertain at an earlier date whether they would be able to resume their class work. It seems now that it will not be possible for these men to take the final examinations. The Commanding Officer recommends that these men be reported as “withdrawn" on the grade sheets presented to the Registrar. This seems to me to be a reasonable recommendation, and I suggest that it be donee Otherwise, after the grade sheets are sent in the V-12 Office probably will request that a change of grade card be sent through ,which is a practice that is not too desirable.
