We suggest that it would be well for instructors to use ink when entering names on abSencse report cards. This will lessen the possibility of alteratious in the report between the time it leaves the instructor's hanis and reaches the Navy Office, The reports of mid-semester grades were unusually prompt ~ all but three instructors had their grades in this office on the schedules date. We sincerely appreciate your splendid cooperation, Any delay in getting the D and F grades in on the date specified may result in some Navy V-12 trainee being con- tinued on the Restriction List unjustly for an additional week. Futhermore, and this is probably more important, it delays placing those trainees on restriction who have just entered tne Program and need the supervised study periods.
