Those accepted will be come missioned as Captains and Majors. : They will attend a four weeks! training course at Lexington, Virginia, After completion of the course they will be assigned to Service Commands, Gener- al Hospitals and Convalescent Hospitals to take charge of the reconditioning pro-= Zrale Only very high calibre men are desired. They must possess a strong capacity for leadership and organization; have a working knowledge of technical aspects of physical and educational reconditioning, and be ingenious and resource- ful in adapting this program to the needs of patients assigned thereto, Qualifications: (1) Education Must hold a Master's or Doctor's Degree in physical education or rélated ficids: such as, medicine, physiology, public health, or hygiene. A minimun of at least fifty semester hours in physical education in under graduate and graduate courses is required, which will include a combined total of twelve semester hours in the two subjects of anatomy and physiology, or twelve semester hours in kinesiology. Study in corrective physical education is desirable, (2) Bxpsricnce Must havo had at least ten years of successful super- visory and administrative experionce gained in directing the physical education program in a college or university, in larger high schools in major cities, or. in large public school systems. Experience in coaching is not of primary. impor- tance.
