Dear Dr. Allen:

I have been absent from the city for the last two
weeks and have missed out on two things which I
regret.

The first one was the Father and Son banquet at
the First Methodist Church, where I attend. I am
sorry to have missed this but reports are all
very favorable. The men and boys were delighted
with you ur | talk to them.

The second thing I regret is - I was unable to
get a letter in for the collection of letters of
greeting which were being sent in from your
friends.

I have admired the fine work you have done over
the years and want to be considered one of your
admirers and friends.
