Dear Phogs
I have your letter of March 5.

I think Jim DeCoursey would make more of an effort to
get the Ward High School band for the 22nd if you wrote and
asked him to do this than if I asked him. While, as you
know, we are the best of friends, I believe he would not
make the effort for me that he would if you took the matter
up with him direct. I think though you may have difficulty
securing a high school band for the 22nd, as that day is
Good Friday.
