Dear Ed:

You have been very generous in your kind
remarks concerning my candidacy for councilman in the
first ward. I appreoiate it very much, and if I am
elected I pledge my very best efforts toward cleaning
up Lawrence in away that should our visitors and
residents of early days come back, they would feel
proud that Lawrence has restored some of her beauty
and culture. :

And inoidentally, I will do all that I can
to provide facilities so that our youth of Lawrence —
will be in the best of environments.
