Dear “Phog”:

The time is fast approaching vhen the Jayhawkers will
come out to Tucson to play our Arizona Wildcats.

Some of the local alumni have made inquiry as to who is
coming out with the team, but I have heard nothing
definite. JI am wondering if by any chance you might be
coming to Tucson for the game. If so, Mrs. VanderVries
and I would like very much to have the opportunity to
entertain you in our home.

Last fall when Bill Hargess was here on a scouting trip
the week before the Kansas-Arizona game, I had a delight-
ful visit with him and we had a grand time going over
old times. If you kmow any of the old gang who might be
coming with the team, I would appreciate a line from you
telling me who they are.
