He then joined the Staff of the National Committee of the Young Men's Christian Agsoctation of China. In 1925 he was 4 member of the Second Opium Conference called in Switzerland by the Lea gue of Nations, being one of the three chosen, through thirty-four organizations, to represent the Chinese people as a whole.
