Dear Mrs. Uhrileub:

I feel very guilty, ltrs. Uhriaub, that I have not
answered your good letter of Octover 22.

I have been traveling over the country much and ~
delivering lectures here and there and I just simply feiled
” get down to the work that I had hoped to do.

{am fearful that things have not gone woll with
you and i on wrstang to find oute

We are leaving next Monday for New York city to be
gone until danuary 3 or 4—~ If you will write me a return
letter here at the office, my secretary will mail it to me
and I will get in touch with Mre Austin McCarty end Mr. Willerd
Greim, and I believe we can help you if it is not too late.

' I feel very bed about my inability to do more for
youe Knowing the situation, I would rather help you than
help Dutch. I thought he wes worthy and I thought by getting
him a job he would naturally, in turn, help his familye I
