At the last annual meeting of the College
Directors Society, it was voted that insufficient
funds were available to guarantee the printing of
various committee reports now being undertaken.
You may recall that some years ago we organized
a cihenl bibee to study Teaching Situations and
Techniques in five sports, namely, Football,
Baseball, Basketball, Swimming, and Tennis.

You kindly accepted appointment to this committee.

Under conditions imposed by the College
Directors Society, I am unwilling to request im-
portant persons in our field to give their time to
a project which may not be made available in printed
form. To this end you are released from your obliga-
tion and the committee is being disbanded,
