Contributions to

Furnish Hall

The local Legionnaires have rented
club rooms in the Underwood build-
ing, over Blue-Berry Appliances Co.
store, and are fitting it up for enter-
taining their members and friends.

Nothing elaborate is planned but a
good, homey place where all men who
ever served under the United States
Flag are welcome. Of course Park-

ile Fost No. 318, The American Le-
vion, is sponsoring the move but all
veterans will be welcome.

Elmer Renner is Commander of the
local organization this year with R.
Steinacker as Adjutant. Leonard No-
land and J. V. Cushing are Vice Com-
manders, with Geo. B. Fewson as sec-
retary. _A recent Carnival was put
on at a financial profit and other ev-
ents are coming up. So if you are
entitled to membership, come _ right
up and meet your friends.

comfortable in the new home and the
veterans are asking you to contribute

pears that a large part of our post-
war scheming was post-war dreaming.
The post-war era is here and with it
comes the grim realization that if vic-

must be rededicated to a program of
