Dear "Mutt" $

I am sending you a carbon copy of the letter I
just dictated to Hal Middlesworth, the sports editor of the Daily
Oklahoman. ‘I have asked him for @-reply so I will let you know
as soon as I hear from hin.

I got your telephonic conversation while in bed and
have been in bed until this morning, when I oame up to the office -
to dictate this letter. I am not very spry right now but by tek-_
ing care of myself I believe I can make it. I ran a temperature
until late last night so I am taking things easy now.
