Coach Wayne "5421" Replogle has just stopped in the office
and told me about the find visit that he had with you and your dad. I recall
the fine visit I had at Anthony with you and the rest of the good people of
your community. I would have liked very mich to have been with Coach Replogle.
and to renew the on. acquaintances that I made there.

splendid athletic and academic record which you started at Anthony. We would
be delighted to have you consider the University of Kansas, We think we have
a fine university and an exceptional engineering school. |

I am hoping that you can come up and visit the university
in the not too distant future. We are reestablishing our Kansas Relays this
-year and even though you may not compete in track, which I suspect you do, it
would be a fine opportunity to visit the university and get better acquainted,
The morning of the Relays we invite many of the high school seniors in to check
ouy a basketball suit and swap goals with our varsity players. Our varsity |
_ boys play along with the high school boys and generally a good time is had, In
i other words, on Saturdgy morning prior to the Relays the boys have a good work
out, a good shower bath, and a lot of good fellowship, This puts them in shape
for a good meal at noon and the Relays in the afternoon. You will hear more |
about this a little later, but count on coming. The date is
