Dear Phog:

I want to thank you for your interest in sending
me a carbon copy of your letter to Reaves Peters. I am
always glad to know just what is going on even though
sometimes I can not publish all I know.

I was positive when I first started reading the
letter that Fred Winter was not guilty of the charge made
by Charles Moffett for he does not talk that way and is
a high class fellow all around, but Knox is also a very
fine fellow but of course his professional baseball
contacts probably have made his talk a little r , al=
though I have never noticed that tt—has. x
