My dear Phogs

Thanks for your note, and the inclosed manuscript, which
I: have read and found most informative. I hope you don't think
that just because I hang a story on you once or twice a year that
I'm picking on you. I am not. But you always make news, and
I naturally gravitate toward good news sources when I qm looking
material. I am afraid you getting righter and righter about
football in general, so don't ever take any of my brainstorms
very seriously. Do drop in when yu get a chance and let's have
that talk. I'm always glad to see you. I told my son"to keep in’
pretty close touch with you for the next few months--so help
him along if you get a chance. He'll need some help.
